Peters’ elephantnose fish is an African freshwater elephantfish in the genus Gnathonemus. Other names in English include elephantnose fish, long-nosed elephant fish, and Ubangi mormyrid, after the Ubangi River.

Big tank update today!

Our fishless cycle finished up a few days ago in our 60L tropical freshwater tank, and we added in our first livestock yesterday… 5 Amano Shrimp and 2 Siamese Algae Eaters, who seem pretty happy, active and interested in their new fishy home!

Complete tank details + equipment:

Caribsea Eco Complete and ADA Aquasoil

Wave Point LED daytime light and a separate small blue moonlight LED.

AquaGro CO2 kit, 95g canisters.
